About this campaign
I am saddened to pass on the news that my friend David left the planet this morning, March 3. Thank you to everyone who purchased a tee and donated to the fundraiser. It will help his girls — his wife Joanie and his daughter Rosanne — not have to think about money at this sad time. Bills are still pouring in and there will of course be final expenses. I thought of turning this off but have been encouraged to keep it going for his girls, so I will.

Fan for over 40 years. Yes, David was great with Jackson Browne, but when he opened for Jackson at the Santa Barbara Bowl with his own band, El Rayo X, I was riveted by that reggae beat. Seen him many, many times in many places. Always fun.

We shouldn't have to pool our resources to cover the medical expenses of one of our kind! And he was one of us! I was fortunate to go to Cal Poly Pomona and see David Lindley perform there (he was Claremont local) in the early 80's
