About this campaign
I am saddened to pass on the news that my friend David left the planet this morning, March 3. Thank you to everyone who purchased a tee and donated to the fundraiser. It will help his girls — his wife Joanie and his daughter Rosanne — not have to think about money at this sad time. Bills are still pouring in and there will of course be final expenses. I thought of turning this off but have been encouraged to keep it going for his girls, so I will.

I worked in a mastering studio where I met David Lindley; I doubt he'd remember me. He gave us all copies of Twango Bango and I wore that CD out, I played it so much. An intelligent, humble & fun guy; I'm sure he was much loved by friends & family.
Very saddened to hear of David's passing. Instantly recognizable sound that was synonymous with Jackson Browne. He was THE sound of Jackson Browne.
Been a fan of Mr. Dave since 1968... Thanks Dave, for all the superlative music!
