Late on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, after finishing a workout at the gym, Elijah suddenly began struggling to breathe. What started as a trip to the campus infirmary quickly turned into something far more serious. After evaluation, he was rushed to MUSC for further testing.

There, Elijah and his family received devastating news—multiple masses were discovered in his chest and on his hip. While doctors continue to run tests and we await the final pathology report, one thing is already clear: Elijah is facing the fight of his life.
