About this campaign

Purchases of this t-shirt, designed by one of our own zoo volunteers, will help offset the cost of hosting the centennial event on July 25, 2026. Any funds remaining after the event will be used at the zoo for animal care and facility improvements.

Since 1926, Ochsner Park Zoo has delighted Baraboo residents and visitors with unique animal exhibits and educational programs. On July 25, 2026, we will gather together as a community to celebrate the past, present, and future of this free municipal zoo. Local community and conservation groups, businesses, first responders, city departments, and many more will be onsite.

The City of Baraboo would like to thank our volunteers, local partners, event sponsors, and the Friends of the Baraboo Zoo for each of their contributions to planning and funding this special event.

We love the zoo! We have had opportunities to talk with some of the volunteers while we visited , and we always learn something new. The donkeys and goats are our favorite animals to feed.

I was the first Zoo Specialist for the Zoo. I worked there for 26 years. I am excited for the 100th anniversary and celebrate how far the Zoo has developed through the years.

My son loves going to zoos and learning about animals so it's absolutely amazing that we get the opportunity to have one at home. He also attends zookeeper camps every summer!
