The Okapi Conservation Project (OCP) has been fulfilling its mission of protecting the endangered okapi and its habitat in the Democratic Republic of Congo for the past 30 years. Relying on support from zoos, foundations, grants and individuals around the world, we've been able to continue ensuring the okapi has a safe place to live.
Focusing on 3 main initiatives including wildlife protection, community assistance and community education, OCP along with the help of its supporters around the world has ensured the Okapi Wildlife Reserve continues to house the largest population of okapi and protect the thousands of species of animals and plants that share its forest home.
