About this campaign

I signed up for the Philadelphia Marathon as a charity runner for Lupus Foundation. I added The V Foundation later on. The proceeds will be split between the two charities.Purple is the color for both Lupus & Pancreatic Cancer. The design is inspired by my dad’s love for “Life Is Good” shirts and our mutual love of the beach.

I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus in college over a decade ago. I’ve experienced joint pain, frequent illnesses, rashes, hair loss, and more. Some treatments have helped with the symptoms but I want to fundraise for the organization that continues fighting for more treatment and a cure.
