About this campaign
The 10th Pittsburgh Shootout had an unexpected change of scenery due to the closure of Pittsburgh International Race Complex. This caught us off-guard, and we need to fundraise to purchase some much-needed equipment that we traditionally rented from PIRC and cover other moving expenses. In addition, we have exciting plans for the 10th race that require more equipment, so we're looking for a hand to make that happen while avoiding raising registration costs for the FS teams.
This fundraiser covers the following items:
$1000 to cover the venue rental deposit.
$1500 Timing System - we already own one, but we rented the other from Pitt Race! Purchasing this will enable us to continue to run 2 events at 1 time, something we've done for a few years now.
$750 scanning equipment for the RFID tags attached to the student vehicles. This will enable live timing for skidpad, acceleration, and any other event you may see someday at the Shootout.
$250 to pay the artist who designed the tees.
~100 tees will cover the timing equipment and deposit. Donations can be added on top of the tee purchase, or done separately if you aren't interested in our merch.
Want a sticker instead? go to Redbubble -> https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/176208836
Redbubble also has our alternate tee design for a more classic look -> https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/176209250
All excess proceeds will refill our emergency fund and go to event operation costs at the 2026 Pittsburgh Shootout.

I've been watching this program since it's inception. It is a fantastic program that the motorsports community needs to continue!
Emily is the best! Thank you so much for all you do for the FSAE community and even though we can never make it to your shoot out - I support you from my island.
This is one way I can help Andy and Grayson support the Pitt Shootout. I'm on the west coast, physically participating not in the cards at this point.
My son is on the Clarkson University Formula SAE Team. He really enjoyed the Pitt Shootout last year.
