About this campaign

The Village Initiative is an action-oriented grassroots organization committed to working together with the Williamsburg-James City County Schools to achieve greater equity and diversity in our school system.

We advocate for children and parents, create opportunities for tutoring and mentoring, provide books for programs like Head Start, and find opportunities to improve instruction, promote diversity and build understanding.
