About this campaign

Proceeds from the Trucks and Shucks Shirts Fundraiser will help realize a long-term goal of the Alumni Association to establish an Alumni Association Endowed Legacy Scholarship. The Alumni Association must raise a minimum of $100,000 to endow this scholarship and so far over $37,000 has been raised. To continue this journey, a portion of all alumni event income and fundraisers will go towards the establishment of this scholarship.

The shirt is inspired by the Trucks and Shucks event itself, an annual party for Steward alumni and community members to enjoy local food including bbq, pizza, and oysters, unlimited beer and wine, and live music. https://https://www.stewardschool.org/community/special-events/trucks-and-shucks

The logo on the front was designed by Dani Blake '09 and the graphic on the back was designed by Zach Barnard '12. The Steward School Alumni Association was founded in 1986 with a purpose of creating a community for graduates of The Steward School. Today, the association has grown to over 1,400 members and serves to create a community of engaged alumni in leadership and generosity.
