Team O'Brien

Allison was diagnosed with Hydrocephalus at 11 months old. She went to many doctors as a baby due to her failure to thrive as a baby. It took multiple tests and appointments to get the diagnosis. We were not offered much information at the time. We were told the only answer is brain surgery. Little did we realize this is a life long condition. She needed years of therapy to learn to walk, talk, etc. She has been through 3 brain surgeries as well. A shunt is only a temporary fix for this way of life. The shunt can fail at any time and result in another brain surgery. We are raising money for research to help find a cure for Allison and others living with Hydrocephalus. We are proud supporters of the Hydrocephalus Association!
