The Cherokee midwife commuinty care fund

I provide traditional wise women center care in rural parts of Appalachia. I am a second generation commuinty midwife and herbalist bringing back traditional ways and skills during the madienhood through motherhood and onward. I give free care and very discounted rates to many families throughout the seasons. Many not on social media or connected to big community’s of support have hard time crowd funding for access to care that desire and deserve. Options are slim in Appalachia for the kind of care that has always been rooted here. I often drive up to 2 hours back and forth from my own home to clients to give access to them. I’ve been trying to find a creative way to help offset costs of gas, time, material needs, trainings etc without the families sharing all their troubles to the world or who truly just don’t have a village to even vent too.
