About this campaign
We have expanded the scope of the playground to be a gathering place for all families to play and socialize. See our website for new design plans. We are applying for a state RCO (Recreation Conservation Office) $500,000 grant with Jefferson County Parks & Rec to build this one million dollar project. We need to match those funds with $300,000 and are counting on in-kind donations for the balance, so we can break ground in 2021 and build our playground. We have raised nearly $125,000 and need ongoing support. Please make a purchase and spread the word.
JUMP! along with our fiscal sponsor Mike Beery Memorial Children's Fund and Jefferson County Parks and Rec are working together to apply for a $500,000 grant with the state Recreation Conservation Office (RCO) grant along with other grants. The project has now evolved into a $1 million dollar project so we still need to raise $200,000 in matching funds in order to build the playground and park enhancements that you saw at our design unveiling at Finnriver or can view at our website. Please buy a shirt to help us spread the word when you wear it! Thanks for all your support. If we raise the matching funds and get the RCO grant we will be breaking ground in summer of 2021.

My amazing four year old son has spina bifida and uses a walker. We live in Jefferson County and it would be wonderful if he had a playground he could ACTUALLY play at!
