Colon Crusaders

"The Colon Crusaders team participated in the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America's Take Steps virtual walk, raising over $2k for CCFA! Our dual mission is to 1) raise awareness and funding for research for a cure to Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, and 2) normalize colonoscopies so that more people are getting screened early. We're all about healthy colon's for everyone! It was only fitting for this group to wear a fanny pack (or "bum bag") emblazoned with our team name and a colon that "shines like justice" (as one team member put it). The bags were filled with snacks, mini deodorant (for all the sweating on our 3 mile walk!), a team colored bandana, and a pencil topped with a golden poop toy (because... kinda just because).
