Fuller Village Senior Chorus

"The photo shows my Fuller Village Chorus wearing their new shirts with the embroidered golden note that says "Fuller Chorus". All the members of this chorus are over 80 years old and I have been directing them for the past year. When I began the chorus members didn't know how to read notes and couldn't sing in parts and they told me not to expect much. They also wore white shirts of all different shades and styles and told me "that's the way we have always done it". Here we are a year later, performing for a Veteran's Day cable show. They are learning to read notes and they sing in parts. They gave up their mismatched white shirts and are very proud of their new dazzling, classy shirts. We feel like a unified group and they are proud of themselves for being open to change and growth.
