HERD OF TURTLES

"Enclosed is a photo of my team "HERD OF TURTLES" honoring my dad, Mike Kipila. My dad was an avid biker and road captain of his motorcycle club. My dad would look back at the riders lined up with their helmets on and say, "We're off like a Herd of Turtles." I thought this would be the perfect name for our team. This was our second year participating in an event called Run For Dad by the American Cancer Society to help raise awareness and research for prostate cancer. Run For Dad is held every year on Father's Day at Mercer County Park. Having lost my dad in 2013, I have made it my mission to support Run For Dad to help save lives and to find a cure for prostate cancer. When I mentioned to CustomInk that I was thinking of calling my team Herd of Turtles, they thought it was a great idea and couldn't wait to get started on helping me create this awesome t-shirt. The designers at CustomInk had some cool ideas in designing the shirt and we had lots of fun doing it. They were very compassionate having heard my story in why I was participating in this event. The staff and support at CustomInk was unbelievable. Every step of the way was smooth and they are very professional, but yet somehow they make you feel as though you're talking to your best friend.
