"In May 2017, members of the Oneonta High School Book Club went to the local elementary schools to help with RIF (a reading program that gives free books to elementary students). We previewed the books by reading them to the classes, and also helped students choose books on distribution day. We created red tshirts to remind students that they should "RED: R-E-D: Read Every Day". I call our Book Club the Varsity Reading Team, so that's what we put on our t-shirts. The members love them!"
