Playing for Papa Crugs

"This is the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite U16 girls ice hockey team wearing their "Play for Papa Crugs" t-shirts that were ordered from Custom Ink. The shirts were made to honor Joe Crugnale, the father of one teammate (Bella Crugnale - standing 3rd from left in the front row), who passed away on November 23, 2014 from leukemia. Orange was chosen as it is the color of leukemia awareness. The girls have worn their their shirts to at least one game each tournament weekend as a way to show their love and support for Bella. This game was being played in the "Optimist" rink, which is perfect because Papa Crugs was such a positive guy! " - Dorothy Falk (Dec 16, 2014)
