Pretty Girls ROCK!

"On Saturday, November 12, 2011, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Omicron Eta Chapter hosted a Women and Girls Empowerment workshop seminar. It was held at Pace University in Westchester, NY. Girls from a local high school as well as college women were all invited to listen to our guest speakers present on 4 different workshops based on self-esteem, self-image, transition of womanhood and female empowerment. At the end of the seminar, everyone received a certificate for completing the workshops as well as a PRETTY GIRLS ROCK SHIRT and a "Pretty Package" that contained items such as lotions and lip gloss to make sure they always "stay pretty!"
