Puente Freshmen from Period 6

"This group of freshmen is part of a rigorous reading and writing academy called the Puente Program at a low-performing, underprivileged high school located in east side San Jose. To raise their sense of community, I sought to create a hooded sweatshirt that would give them a group identity to be proud of.
