"This is our official team photo from the Reach the Beach relay race.
This relay race (the biggest in the Unites States) spans 203 miles, starting in the mountains of Northern New Hampshire (Cannon Mountain), finishing at Hampton Beach. Our team was made up 12 members; six women and six men. Each team member runs three separate legs ranging from three to nine miles in length.
Our team finished 224 out of 480 teams in just over 30 hours.
Most importantly we ran to help raise awareness of Juvenile Diabetes. Two of our teams members have children who suffer from this disease. JDRF is also a major beneficiary of the race.
