"I had the incredible privilege to lead a team in the Race to Empower event, which benefits a non-profit organization serving both children and adults with disabilities. A cause personal to me because I have cerebral palsy. Wowed by the atmosphere when I participated alone in the 10k portion of the event in 2018, I vowed to return a year later, this time bringing a team with me! My team included family members, my physical therapist from childhood, and decade-long friends. For team shirts I knew I had to go with Custom Ink! I created a commemorative edition of a shirt I have in the past sold through Custom Ink Fundraising. The shirt's message can be found in the spirit of the Race to Empower event- Run, walk, roll, limp however you move, MOVE! "
