Custom Ink again
Uncensored Customer Reviews
Here's what recent customers had to say:
I absolutely loved my Custom Ink experience. I ran into some trademark issues with the design and they were super quick about getting back to me about how to move forward. They communicated everything they needed from me and how to proceed forward with my order. Minus a longer wait time for my order, I have no complains and think that the customer service is 10/10.

No problem with anything in this entire process. Very good communication. Kept me informed at every step. Delivered earlier than anticipated! 👍👍👍

Experience was relatively easy and smooth going. Was my first time so I was a little cumbersome navigating all my options. All in all it went well with no complaints.

Poor communications, I was contacted about making a change, but no one could till what the change was going to be. Was told I would be sent a proof before printing, none arrived. No confirmation on anything until I contacted you about the order, at that point I was told the order was printed and shipped. The Digital printing is what I am guessing was the change to my order, I am not to impressed with, Looks like a cheep iron on? Since I am forced to answer about ordering again I will say No at this point, but that could change overtime, if the durability of the printing and garments lasts.

It's a vinyl image instead of screen printed so it won't last long. The washer and dryer will have the logo peeling off in no time. I received it quickly, which was great, but it's not made to last, so I'm disappointed that I spent a lot of money on something that I'll have to buy again before long from somewhere else.

Great personalized assistance via chat, then email -- no robots! A real human! Who knew what he was doing! Very responsive, facilitated an art correction, and it ended up perfect.

Easy design and ordering experience, with plenty of help and no pressure

The staff at Custom Ink answered all my questions and took care to understand my concerns. They made adjustments to our graphics, which I worried I was being picky about, though no detail was too small for them. They aim to please and make getting the product you dream of attainable.

AVOID. I placed a $5,500 order for custom performance UV shirts and expected a professional experience. Instead, the final product arrived with incorrect colors and misaligned logo placement — despite my having specifically corrected these issues with a resolutions manager BEFORE approving the proof. I even raised concerns that the proof didn’t look as good as it did in the DesignLab preview. The manager assured me it was just a software issue and that the final shirts would look better in person. They did not. The missing color and misplaced logos is inexplicable. I assume this was all just rushed and there is no actual oversight or attention to detail. Printing mistakes aside, what is straightforwardly unacceptable and questionable business practice, is that after I paid the invoice, all communication from CustomInk essentially stopped. Multiple emails were completely ignored, and customer service agents were unhelpful and uninformed. It took multiple escalations just to get someone to acknowledge the order. I worked with this person to correct and approve the proofs, and the order still arrived incorrect. For a US$5,500 order I would have expected significantly better. CustomInk clearly lacks the systems or accountability to handle serious jobs. I’ll be using a smaller, more attentive company in the future.

I do not recommend Custom Ink. I was reordering a product and the process was confusing and frustrating. I had a tight turn around time that I communicated early and when I followed up to make sure I could get artwork approved quickly, no one was responsive. I also had an issue with the design that was used from the past and was not given straight answers about why they could not embroider the same design from the past. I was only told "it is because of the guidelines" but no one could tell me what guideline changed. I asked to speak to a manager, was told one would call me back and no one ever did. The final customer service agent via the chat was able to help solve the problem easily by taking the time to actually look at the past order but that was after over a week of frustrations. The shirts came late, dirty from the packing materials and the embroidery is messy. Unless you are doing something basic or a larger logo, I would not recommend using Custom Ink.

No issues with anything. From beginning to end of my order.

We only use them because of the option of having individuals pay for a group order. I was supposed to have a voucher applied to my order. Instead, I was shown it was applied but it didn't actually give me a credit/refund of any kind, even though I was told via chat that because we had a group order and the group was paying individually that I would be issued the refund personally, so I ordered extra shirts for the group order. The invoice made no sense because the amount paid by the collective group literally did not match the invoice, so when I asked about it, I was told that accounting would look into it. Since then, I have heard nothing, and I have emailed twice to follow up. I am very annoyed/mad that this is so difficult to deal with, and quite honestly, I was going to avoid ordering from Custom Ink this year because of the customer service that resulted in the voucher last year. You made it right by issuing the voucher, but the fact that I can't even redeem the voucher is ridiculous. It also feels dishonest that the invoice was manipulated to look like the voucher was applied when it really wasn't. Unless they make this right, we will take our business elsewhere.

One half of my rush order was delivered without issue. The second-- and more important-- half of my order was a complete failure. On the day I was to receive rush delivery, I was notified that changes had to be made to the order and it would no longer be possible to have delivery as promised (and paid for) in time for the guests of my work event. Because of the exceptionally late notice, I was not able to find another vendor who could complete a similar job. I understand the change that was needed; I do not understand why I was told about the issue days after ordering, on the day I was supposed to receive the order. A hugely disappointing experience with Custom Ink after having been a customer for 20 years. I won't order again, and I will discourage others from using the business for our network of NYC schools.

I find most websites trying at times.. I have a learning disability.. it matters. I muddle through. On that note: great products, a little pricey.. BUT. . . Hopefully they pay their ppl well? I have no gripe on ppl making a living

Customer service / communication turned horrible. I work for a College Athletic dept. & wanted to get some shirts for one of my teams who are traveling out of country this coming week for competition. Started off fine, prepared my design on their site, sent in my order & I get back an email with in 24hrs stating that one part of my logo has to go through trademark to be okayed (might take time - hurt delivery timeline) & they sent an alternative of my design to use or I could send in a different design to use. So I sent 2 different designs (because the one they did was very poor - no real thought on style from them) in place of my 1st & wanted to see if ok (their thoughts) & since I was on a timeline could they get it done in time. I then get an email saying good news my design has been approved they would be able to get my shirts to me on time. Nothing on the my new logos, or which design was being printed, so I reply asking update on what I sent, which logo etc ..... Nothing, I send 2 more emails to my reps ..... Nothing, I then try doing the quick chat on website -- says: "unable to connect to CI rep" so try calling same response. I end up getting on the day my shirts arrived an email saying here is your shirt design & of course it's of the one I hate. I will state: quality of the shirts, printing & packaging were all fine but the rest was miserable.
