On the surface, custom ink is ok. Once you get the order going it starts to roll downhill. You search through a lot of products without knowing the quality of the material so you are just left to guess. The reviews aren't exactly helpful or accurate. Then you upload your artwork and do your best to get it to the right size and after you think it looks good on the guy wearing the shirt mock up you go through and order. I requested proofs to be reviewed before finalizing the order which I got and again everything looked good just like I had uploaded. Fast forward to getting the shirts, initially everything looked ok. The actual print job wasn't that great and it didn't look as clean as the design I had uploaded. After wearing the shirt this was pointed out that the design on the back was off centered and it was a lot worse in the larger sizes, 2XL and 3XL to the point it looked completely lopsided. The shirts I ordered said they ran true to size but were definitely running small and will definitely shrink once washed. I ordered primarily large sizes as those are most common and people that wear large cant fit in them so now I'm stuck with essentially medium sized shirts. Custom ink needs to do a better job across the board. Shirt sizes and descriptions need the be updated. The print quality needs to be better. Customer service needs to actually exist. Overall, I'm not happy with this order and experience.

Again, these comments are not directly related to the two 5X Gildan shirts ordered, but to the larger Hanes shirts order. It was not clear that the art I originally uploaded was not screen-printable on the Hanes Perfect T. So, I was asked to change the t-shirts to Hanes Essential T so they could be digitally printed, which resulted in a refund and a color change. Then, after several days I was informed that the quantity - over 400 shirts - was not tenable and the artwork needed to be converted so it could be screen-print-compatible. The samples I had seen of converted artwork did not instill confidence in me that the artwork would look very good as a result of conversion, so I was hesitant. But, after providing high-res art for conversion, it was deemed adequate so we proceeded. As a result of now having screen-printable art, I requested that the T-shirts be switched back to the Hanes Perfect T so we could get the Equilibrium Green that was not available in Hanes Essential T. I was assured that the T-shirt would be switched. However, when the shirts arrived the other day they were produced on the Hanes Essential T in Sand instead of the Hanes Perfect T in Equilibrium Green. Long story short: there was a lot of back and forth between myself and customer service (and they were helpful - even over the weekend), but ultimately we did not receive what were expecting.

Very easy to order and place. Uploaded logo... asked for black but color was a little washed out but haven't had the chance to check to make sure i ordered black... thought i did.

Great shirt choices, very easy to create & design, and a smooth buying experience. I would like my feedback before printing if artwork color and T-shirt color doesn’t work. One of mine came out invisible because they were to close. I recognize it it my issue, but I would hope they would have the expertise and service to recognize and flag the issue.

The tshirts themselves are nice and a reasonable price. However, I would be cautious trying to create a custom design that uses a specific color pallete or logo. The color match on the tshirts I purchased was completely off and some of the colors that show as solid on the website are variegated in person. The final printed tshirt design did not match well with the final approved design on the website.

The website was great and helped us look at options and see what the product would look like. The easy of uploading our logo and being able to change out shirt colors and styles was very helpful. We are very pleased with our whole experience!

I told about 5 people just this past Saturday about the shirt and your company. I usually tell the people who compliment my shirts (many) that the process at Custom Ink is easy to use and priced competitively with pre-messaged shirts. I only wish the delivery cost was less. I cannot complain about the cost of the shirt, the number of characters I use, the multiple colors price, the availability of using different messages on front and back, and the backup help of online or phone help. I would not consider using another source for my "bulletin board" shirts!

All of my experiences with Custom Ink have been terrific - which is why I keep coming back. The design tools are easy to use and help is always available. They offer a really wide range of products to choose from, and they're all top quality. The printing is excellent: clear, color-true, and products we've owned for years still look great. My only mild complaint is that, on my most recent order, I was in a bit of a time crunch and hoping to get the project done quickly. I needed help with the design and so was in text communication with an agent on the design team. Although I clearly explained the 2 items I wished to change right at the outset, it took about 5 exchanges (and reiterations on my part) before both items were addressed. All told, this took a couple of days, making me miss the deadline for my friend's birthday. Not a biggie, really, but I did feel as if my notes were not being read carefully.

While helpful, it took a long time to get to the ordering process and get colors and pricing correct. If you live chat, they are very helpful, however if you need to live chat an additional time, nothing you spoke about is saved and you will talk to a different rep. Both times I have emailed, I did not get a response.

Not soft and comfortable as others claimed. Slightly better than a regular tshirt but if looking for soft, this isn't it. The printing came out great though. I originally picked what I knew would be a soft shirt but had to switch to get the colors and high quality printing which apparently couldn't be accommodated on the shirt I wanted. I didn't find that out until after the order was placed. However, they did alert me and then sent a reminder text when I missed the email. Customer service online was also quick and very helpful. I just wish the shirt was softer and more comfortable. I'll probably just wear once for the reason I bought it which kills me since it ended up costing over $40 a shirt (due to the # of colors we were printing). I couldn't change it though since we were creating them to honor my dad's memory. He passed away recently and we are wearing the shirts at his favorite Riviera Owners Association car show so the picture we used was from an article he wrote for their magazine about his car. Apparently it had a lot of colors in it but we couldn't change that piece.

I was having problems removing a white background from the image I was uploading to the site - the online chat team helped me with this quickly. Then when I was placing my order on line, I didn’t see an area for the promotion code. I called in and was assisted quickly to ensure my order was processed and I received the applicable discount. The site itself is pretty user friendly- I appreciated that it warned me if my image wasn’t a high enough resolution to print properly, and that it notified me if some of the colors might not print well on the color of shirt I selected. It then gave me the option to change those specific colors . I will say, if you are ordering one or two custom shirts, it is pricey. But the final product looked good and I’m sure my friends will be thrilled.

I wish it would have been better like I said they should have let me see the ending result before delivering. Also I had to make to differnent orders for kids and adult so I do not get to see if the shirts match correctly. Maybe a team member help me find the matching color.
