Custom Ink again

Here's what recent customers had to say:
I completed this entire order in the chatbox. The rep was able to show me mock ups of my product and sent and invoice to my email for payment. This was such an easier process than me trying to create products on my own.

I was working with a local company that had a bunch of back and fourth. They were nice but I was getting frustrated. Someone suggested using customink due to their previous work with them so I sort of balked at first but after giving it a try, I'll be using them from now on.

As promised the ordering process was simple, and the low minimum quantities allowed me to try out several varieties without overspending.

The website asks you to come up with an estimated number of orders, provides pricing based on the estimate. If you do not meet your goal you must cancel your order and try again, or pay a large amount of money to cover the difference in cost. They are not very clear about this to begin with. For the price, and the quality. I would much rather go to a local screen printer. The only convenience is that custom ink allows for individuals to pay for their stuff in one space. Turn around and delivery of the product was much earlier than anticipated date

A club of students that I work with asked if they could have t-shirts. I loved the idea, but had no idea how to go about it. I contacted a local company and they requested a vector file. I don't have any experience with these files or how to make one and the company said they could send my design out to be made into a vector file for an additional cost, so I got frustrated and decided not to do shirts. Then a coworker told me about Custom Ink, I checked it out, uploaded my design, and it looked okay but I wasn't sure how it would print. I read that they check all the designs to make sure they will print well, so I decided to just try it and cancel the order if it didn't work. They sent me a proof and it looked awesome! I approved it, they were sent to me quickly and the shirts are PERFECT. It actually looks like I've done this before. The kids are so happy! I'm shocked that it was so easy.

I have order from another website and the printing was much brighter and not cracked and see through. We decided to try custom Ink as they had the color we wanted. Unfortunately I was not impressed with the quality of the printing. It’s a lot of money for an inferior print job.

Some of the prints were done over wrinkles in the fabric. A number of shirts arrived with the screen print stuck to the other side, and we had to carefully pull them apart this didn’t seem to damage the shirts. I also tried to add two more shirts to the order just a few minutes after placing it, but after being on hold for over 30 minutes and transferred multiple times, I gave up and wasn’t able to make the add-ons. They were trying to get them to be the same price. Overall, the shirts worked for our event, but the quality control and customer service experience left room for improvement.

I will continue to order from Custom Ink. So far i've been very happy with the tank tops and 1/4 zip. One thing I want to mention is that I loved the first tank I ordered so much that I tried to duplicate it. The second tank I ordered had a different cut. I'm not sure how that happened.

The very first part of the encounter sucked. I looked up your site address on the internet so that I could get there and order my shirts. That journey turned out to be a "goat rope". It seems that where the intenet sent me -- you had been gone for some time. So, I wasted over 3 hours trying to find the place at "7902" in McLean -- only to find out that it was now a Senior Living firm. They told me that you had moved over a year earlier. I was lucky that one of the very nice women at your old on-line advertised address was able to give me the new new address/location which was about 10 miles away in Merrifield, VA. Then, when I got there the office was hard to find on the 3rd Floor of a very large building which was full of small individual offices/businesses. After wondering around for about 15 minutes, once again, a very nice young woman, helped me find your office which was way back in the corner of the building. However, the good news is that once I was able to find the place, your repressenattive was exceptionally pleasant, responsive, professional, and helpful. I guess -- all is well that ends well. I'm very impressed and happy with the items that I have received.-- Buzz

I loved the ease of the website. Very easy to design my shirt myself. Other websites I tried would not allow me the formatting I wanted without ordering a minimum amount of shirts. I will definitely order again. Received my order very quickly. I think it was before the estimated date of arrival.

Great website, easy to use. We had trouble with the color black from our artwork; it printed in grey, making the text difficult to read on the colors of fabric we had chosen. Would recommend contacting customer service first if you are trying to have black printed on darker fabric colors.

The design tools are easy enough to use, but there's many clickbait traps that try to get you to purchase additional products. Even when you try to add products to your cart, sometimes the interface won't allow you to. We'll use someone else for any large orders.

Before finalizing order and noticing you don't ship to PO boxes, I used the chat to ask customer service if you use USPS for shipping, or FedEx/UPS because I don't have a mailbox and USPS will return undeliverable if order begins with FedEx/UPS and is handed off to USPS. They assured me is was NOT sent USPS or handed off to USPS....but order was ultimately handed off to USPS and returned UNDELIVERABLE!!! It was a birthday gift for my daughter, so it ended up being very late and missed her party, and the post office it was held at was not disclosed to me, had to make multiple phone calls to even get an idea of where it might be, just said "being held at carrier location". Since it was shipped using DHL, I tried calling them and they could not help me find out where it would be either Once I finally found out the 3rd time calling DHL that it might be at the post office for my physical address, the post office would never answer their phone and their business hours are when I am at work, and the post office is very far away from my house. I did finally just happen to have a day off and pick it up, but the whole situation was very stressful, inconvenient and wasted a lot of my time and energy, and the present was very late. Also, when ordering, it gave an alert that possibly part of the art would not print right (can't remember the exact phrase), but it never told me exactly what was the problem so I just went for it. Once I got the sweatshirt, I realized that it was a ghosted image that was on my file that I didn't see. Luckily my daughter loved the novelty of it being there, but I wish I could have been informed of what the exact predicted issue was with the art. In summary, please be more transparent and accurate with your art submission quality check and shipping information for those of us who have PO Boxes and live in the country.

Wow, I have been trying to find a site that was simple enough to navigate, and still get the quality of product I was looking for. Custom Ink really made the whole process easy and affordable. In my busy life, I dont have time to swing through a local shop and go through all the questions. Custom Ink not only has a huge selection of materials, their quality control team makes the adjustments needed to make sure you are happy with the final product.

The screen printing quality was good, and the turnover time was super fast. Just be careful that you know what you're ordering and that you don't accidentally order screen printing instead of embroidery. I might try again with a different product and being more careful when I make the order.
