Unfortunately, I made the mistake of purchasing the Bella + Canvas Tri-Blend. Heed my warning the shirt is see-through the fabric is terrible it is so thin it feels like it is going to disolve if I put it in the wash. I worked directly with designers and I wish they had provided insight on the shirt choice. I was simply choosing from color and had confidence that if it was being offered it was a quality shirt. That was wrong. The package states a 100% guarantee, but that isn't the case. It only applies if there is an error on their side, not for shirts of poor quality. The print is very rough I wasn't expecting that not sure why it is rough.

I had an urgent situation and had to get some tank shirts quickly! Custom Ink not only pulled thru for me, they actually had a phone conversation with me to be sure they had my exact instructions on my design. It had a piece in it I didn't want (and wasn't aware that it was there as it blended into the dark background). Their art department caught it and messaged me! I was able to give them exact instructuons—and they nailed it! And I received my shirts one day earlier than I expected! So grateful!

Overall a good experience, but main complaint I'd say is the protocol of artwork approval process. Sorry to compare to other companies, but could be helpful to Custom Ink for quality improvement... So the most frustrating part of the process was trying to get the artwork how I'd like it. In my honest opinion, they were not hard edits to makes so it was a bit annoying that it took a week to get it right. The whole issue came down to the fact that I cannot speak with the actual artists working on my artwork. Instead, I am forced to speak to a middle man/woman who has to play telephone and relay my requests to the art team. This is where information gets translated incorrectly or with pieces missing. I have used 4Imprint for other projects and they were much smoother in this part of the order process. Their process involves the opportunity to directly speak live with an artist and actually watch their screen as they are making the edits live. This was extremely helpful and assuring that my requests were being made accordingly. This removes any confusion, miscommunication, and possible delays. Passing down creative information is different than normal instructions. It can sometimes be hard to describe in writing and is best explained on a call between the requester and the actual person making the edits.

I find most websites trying at times.. I have a learning disability.. it matters. I muddle through. On that note: great products, a little pricey.. BUT. . . Hopefully they pay their ppl well? I have no gripe on ppl making a living

Customer service / communication turned horrible. I work for a College Athletic dept. & wanted to get some shirts for one of my teams who are traveling out of country this coming week for competition. Started off fine, prepared my design on their site, sent in my order & I get back an email with in 24hrs stating that one part of my logo has to go through trademark to be okayed (might take time - hurt delivery timeline) & they sent an alternative of my design to use or I could send in a different design to use. So I sent 2 different designs (because the one they did was very poor - no real thought on style from them) in place of my 1st & wanted to see if ok (their thoughts) & since I was on a timeline could they get it done in time. I then get an email saying good news my design has been approved they would be able to get my shirts to me on time. Nothing on the my new logos, or which design was being printed, so I reply asking update on what I sent, which logo etc ..... Nothing, I send 2 more emails to my reps ..... Nothing, I then try doing the quick chat on website -- says: "unable to connect to CI rep" so try calling same response. I end up getting on the day my shirts arrived an email saying here is your shirt design & of course it's of the one I hate. I will state: quality of the shirts, printing & packaging were all fine but the rest was miserable.

It was easy to add my own drawing, but on a second shirt I ordered later it was difficult to add 3 separate images. The first two uploaded easily, but the 3rd one uploaded once, but then immediately changed color to white & when I tried to upload it again, it wouldn't work. Maybe there's a limit on how many separate images one can upload, but the site didn't say that anywhere that I could see. I tried the online chat; I was told to save the image, but the pop-up chat page covered the "save" button, so I couldn't save without exiting the chat. It was frustrating.

Just a bit disappointed that I did not get the color I ordered. I order neon green and it came in dark green. We try to vary the color every year and now we have two years in a row the same color.

The custom design web app is easy to use and everything turned out perfectly. I tried it at first on my iPhone and it would work there fine for most people but I have big hands so I switched to my laptop screen so I could manipulate the positions of logo and printing more accurately using the mouse pointer. Turned out perfectly!

Unfortunately, my low likelihood to refer custom ink or use them again boils down to terrible customer service. It is clear automation and communication is important given how many opportunities there are to communicate, which is appreciated, but execution drops the ball. Communication between chat, email, telephone, and the website was inconsistent and unreliable. When a chat person told me one thing, it didn't match what the website or someone over email or someone over the phone told me. I would be guaranteed one thing over the phone just to get an email confirming that guarantee was not met. I always spoke with a different person and nobody over understood my story or entire situation. My orders came one at a time and late. They cancelled shirts i didn't want to cancel due to miscommunication and sent me double of other orders. Very disorganized. Extremely frustrating experience despite trying to have patience throughout. After all, it's just tee shirts, yet it brought me more frustration than I thought possible.

This is a great company! Their website is easy to navigate and design your own custom t-shirt. I love that there is no minimum order on shirts, it makes it easy to try a design before a full commitment. I received my order fast!
