Dream

"This shirt was created in remembrance for a very special classmate, peer, and friend that passed away very young in her life; only a junior in high school. In the little time she spent at "her" school, School for Advanced Studies, she impacted all of the lives she knew and all of the lives of the people she did not know. She radiated positivity and dreamed big for her future. She was a special individual that had everything going for. And inspired everyone that had got chance to meet her and even know her more on personal level. Someone capable of changing the world and able to make difference in not only her high school but also her community. She was an artistic free spirited that never was afraid to chase her dreams. She is the inspiration behind this shirt. For anyone that knew her, one of her favorite hobbies was to draw. Draw allowed her to express herself and personality. it was an escape for her to be who she is. The shirt is designed with that idea in mind, to be who you are and to live the life you want to live. To follow in the example of a person that did just that and was loved by everyone for it. Another part of the design of the shirt is the dream catcher on the back and dream written in the back. Allie was never afraid to dream and to go after them. This shirt a reminder that everyone have to their own dreams and should never be afraid to purse them. It constant reminder that even wildest dream is reachable if you want it enough. The shirt is to pay remembrance to someone whose influence should never be forgotten. Even in the darkest of times, we should remember to never give up on ourself and our dreams. As a school and especially as part of Allie high school class (class of 2014) we came together to take a picture with everyone in the shirts even though not everyone is in the picture. As a school we serve as another part of Allie family. Honestly, working with custom ink was the best. I don't think I could have made my vision come true with any other company. It came out exactly how I wanted it. They were patient with me through the whole designing process. I plan to order more for Allie family and any more people that is interested of keeping her memory alive through the shirt.
