"This was our group that was celebrating three graduations (2 Associates for Nursing and one High School), an anniversary, and a birthday. "This picture was taken at the 2013 American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Duval County held in Freer,Tx. We are "Team Kaos" we relay in honor of my father Rene Gonzalez who is a kidney cancer survivor. We are lacking a few team members in this picture due to being on the Relay committee, myself included. "This was a walk for in support of my father, Bob Williams. This 5K was held in Evans, GA. We had a small group of walkers, but we were able to raise over $5000.00. Pulmonary Fibrosis is not well-known, yet more people die from this than breast cancer and other well known diseases. We need to get the word out about Pulmonary Fibrosis. "I just sent you a picture of three of us in our Jimbo shirts but this is a picture of my dad running in his too. This was taken towards the end of the Boston Marathon on Comm. Ave with the John Hancock and Prudential buildings in the distance. At this point he had less than a mile until the finish and the bombs went off a few minutes after this picture was taken. He was stopped at 25.9 miles because of the explosions but the shirt did help him run the marathon thanks to all the cheering the shirt promoted and it also helped all my family reunite after the explosions (bright yellow was easier to spot in the crowds of people)."
