"We had our first Thanksgiving campout and we all had our Custom Ink tshirts on during our dinner and during the UT vs. A&M game. So on Friday we decided to do it again and rub it in to some of our Aggie family members. Mornin' Maegan,Lovely post and tribute to your new freind Barb and her family. I wholeheartedly understand how you feel. The freind thing is a difficult issue for me as I seem to make acquaintances at work, etc. but that's just it. Even though I might invite them over for a party or cookout, etc. things do not progress, the invitations are not reciprocate and we just stay acquaintances. I have one hope on the horizon for a new freind. Recently, I had a yard sale and I put out some of my art. A woman about my age stopped by and we began talking about art. She just so happens to be a RN like me and an artist and she's moving from MA to the next town over here in ME. We exchanged business cards and have emailed a few times. Now to arrange the face time I am hopeful.Wishing you many more wonderful freindly encounters.Carol
