About this campaign
I am saddened to pass on the news that my friend David left the planet this morning, March 3. Thank you to everyone who purchased a tee and donated to the fundraiser. It will help his girls — his wife Joanie and his daughter Rosanne — not have to think about money at this sad time. Bills are still pouring in and there will of course be final expenses. I thought of turning this off but have been encouraged to keep it going for his girls, so I will.

David's music has nourished my heart, and moved my body, for over 40 years. I was privileged to have seen him play many times, and to have met him at a gig where he and Wally gave my teenage companions drumsticks, guitar picks and autographs.
Have enjoyed Mr. Dave's artistry for over FIVE decades! Seen him with Jackson Browne, El Rayo X, and solo. Got to meet him after a solo show on my alma mater campus-University of Texas. Met him after the show and had a great chat! Adios El Rayo!
