"OCHO provides medical and public health outreach in rural Honduras since 1999. Our team of 40-50 volunteer clinicians, translators, and helpers cares for thousands of people in impoverished, coffee-farming communities.
This photo was taken at the end of our week-long free medical clinic in Honduras.
We've ordered Customink shirts for our annual brigade since 2011. Brigade volunteers as a way to stick together on travel days and remember our experiences fondly. We also give out matching shirts to our local Honduran helpers to thank them for their support during our brigade.
Personally, I wear my OCHO shirts with pride during races (eg: marathons and Ironman) - it's a great way to publicize the cause for which I'm fundraising and know my race has greater purpose.
