As a native New Yorker I know how important the Carriage Horses are to Central Park, tourism and education for young people who live in the city and are not exposed to Horses. The beautiful animals are well cared for and deserve to have a job!
I am tired of people saying these horses are abused. They are not. All horses need a job. It is a very slippery slope to all equine activities if we do not win this false stated battle against the NYC carriage horses.
NYers & Brooklynites need contact with Horses & NYC's past & living Arts! There are no subway rides to farms! PETA SHOULD BE OUTLAWED,
