This is a well regulated industry with great animal LOVING workers....no need to ban a great unique attraction that makes this city a desired place to visit. :)
I believe the Mayor should put his energy into more important matters and leave the NYC Horse Carriages alone. It's all about greed and Real Estate..!
These are happy, healthy horses and they deserve to keep working in the jobs they (and I) love!
The proposed ban is wrong for many reasons.
Showing support for the horses and the people who love them like family and vice versa
Central Park would not be the same without the horses. They love their job
We are a small Carriage Business in Abilene, Kansas. We understand the pressure by the government and want to support the carriage businesses across the country!
We support them, they support us. We need each other more than ever.
As a draft horse owner, I know that these horses love to work, love attention and interaction, and are being completely misunderstood by opponents of the carriages.
There are thousands of horses out there that do need to be rescued, but the NYC carriage horses are not among them.
