"My team, the Pink Princesses, just walked in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Washington, DC this past weekend, May 4-5. It is a 2 day, 39.3 mile walk to raise money and awareness for breast cancer. But it is much more than just walking almost 40 miles....it is the most amazing weekend of our lives and words can't describe the weekend - we walk, we talk, we laugh, we cry and we hope for a cure to be found for this horrible disease. The Pink Princesses raised almost $30,000 this year and the Avon Walk DC walkers as a whole raised over $4.5 million this year!! We are In It to End It and find a cure for breast cancer!!
