"The Avera Race Against Breast Cancer is an annual event in Sioux Falls, SD. It is a 5K, 10K or family walking event on Mother's Day weekend. There were 5500 participants in the event to raise money for breast cancer. The funds stay in the local area to support patients and their families. Our team is the Avera Institute for Human Genetics Gene Team. We are doing amazing things to advance cancer research and treatment."
