"My dad was the pilot on the B-24 Scootin' Thunder serving with the 13th AF in the South Pacific during WWII. Dad had 45 combat missions. I took my dad's diary and wrote the book; Scootin' Thunder to share his story of war in the Pacific. My dad passed away at 92 last June. The T-shirt is a great conversation starter and another way to honor his service as a pilot with the 13th Air Force and help keep the history alive."
