Bearista

"These "bearista" aprons were worn by the Ursuline Academy Bears during Mission Day 2015. Mission Day is a unique and festive time at our school when each homeroom is transformed into a store, booth or restaurant. Everything sold in these rooms is donated by members of the community. Throughout the day, the money spent purchasing the foods, raffle tickets, bear stuffed animals and more is all donated to charity. One room was the Bearbucks cafe this year and these "bearista" aprons certainly sold us a lot of coffee! With this cute design from CustomInk, the donations of many and the spirit of Ursuline, we were able to donate over $19,000 to be equally divided between our two charities. This was an amazing accomplishment as we are a small school with only 400 students grades 7-12. One charity was local to us, Camp Harbourview in Boston which provides at-risk kids with a safe and fun camp opportunity. The next charity was the Tanzania School Fund which helps many children in Tanzania receive a proper education, nutritious meals and much, much more.
