Blanchard Memorial School Stinks

"The Decibels Foundation, a 2011 national CLASSY Awards winner, partners with the Caroline Bass Fund at Boston Children’s Hospital to provide services to children with hearing loss and their families. Their signature fundraiser “Stink Week” has grown up around a central idea: hearing loss stinks! Stink Week is all about raising awareness about childhood hearing loss, and raising some money, too. The 2013 Stink Week campaign invited participants to wear the same Stink Week shirt - beautifully produced by CustomInk - every day for seven days, create a fundraising page, set a personal goal, and then…well, stink. Decibels provides the shirt, they provide the stench, and together they make a stink about hearing loss. The result? Over 700 students and staff at Blanchard Memorial School in Boxborough, MA, along with students from R.J. Grey Junior High and Acton-Boxborough Regional High School raised over $23,000 to support vital programs for children with hearing loss and their families!
