Brick City Boppers: Spinning in Circles for Adults

"Brick City Boppers (BCB) is Rochester Institute of Technology's swing dance club. It was actually founded in 1998 and has spread a love of swing dance to RIT's college students since. Not only does Brick City Boppers teach people how to dance, we do fun things like host live band dances and go on field trips. A fun side note: Most of Brick City Boppers members didn't know how to swing dance prior to college and actually fell in love with both the dancing and Brick City Boppers as a whole once joining the club. (I, a 4th year member, definitely did). Featured in the photo collage are some of Brick City Boppers' current members. The club has grown to be a family, albeit a family of goofballs (see bottom right photo). As you can tell we had a blast with our club t-shirt photoshoot. Because of how special Brick City Boppers has become, for the past 3 years the club has been making t-shirts through Custom Ink to commemorate each year (see top right photo). This year's design reflects Brick City Bopper's favorite swing dance song, "I Like Pie" by Gordon Webster. I promise that anytime any Bopper (the nickname for our members) hears that song they will get up and dance.
