"The event was a fundraiser for The National Parkinson Foundation at Central Park, Santa Clarita, Ca., on May 14. It was a 5K walk/run and our team, Carolyn's Cruisers, were participating in support of Carolyn, my sister, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease one year ago. Carolyn, 55, is a brave and loving soul and was so happy for the support. We had 31 of her family and friends to participate and our team raised $6,000, more than any team!
