Chemistry Nerds :)

" We are the American Chemical Society Club Chapter from the University of St.Thomas in Houston,TX. We volunteered at an annual event called Education Rainbow Challenge. This semiannual math competition was held at Reagan High School. Our ACS members performed physics and chemistry demonstrations for 500 students, grades 3-8, to get them interested in science and STEM-related fields. We also worked alongside SPS, PHPS, UH and HBU student chapters as well as Shell, BP and ACS Greater Houston Section reps. It was an exhausting but very rewarding experience. Glad we got to share our passion for science with these kids. We also looked so cute with our wonderful shirts from Customink. Our T-shirt design is a science mole with hearts coming out of its test tube. We got pink and sapphire T-shirts because they symbolize the litmus chemistry stripes which are pink and blue.
