"We are a family team that walks in the annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation walk at the University of Nevada, Reno campus to raise money and awareness for research to cure T1D. Devon is 9 years old now and has been living life with T1D since she was diagnosed at 5 years old. She loves this event because she is surrounded by others who have the same disease that she does.
