"This is a photo of my team, Team 4ever, crossing the finish line in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in San Francisco this past weekend (9/28 and 9/29) having walked 39.5 miles over two days. Our team was the #2 fundraising team in the SF Walk, raising over $67,000 to support breast cancer treatment for the underserved and research into the causes of breast cancer and disease progression in the case of breast cancer. I'm 49 and an 11 year breast cancer survivor. 32 months ago I was diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer and I'm doing what I can to raise awareness (and hopefully increased funding) of metastatic breast cancer.
So many people along the walk commented on our great shirts! I think we had the best looking and wearing shirts in the walk. The hot pink logo boldly placed on the back and front of this high performance t-shirt broke through the crowds of thousands. Working with customink was a complete pleasure. I loved being able to walk through the buying process with your well trained and compassionate sales folks. I can't wait to order my shirts from customink for next year's walk.
