"We all participated in Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in more than 5,200 communities and 27 countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it's time to take action against cancer. District 230 Relay For Life was recognized for being the most successful and largest high school Relay in the nation. Our team alone had raised 4,371 dollars and we couldn't be any happier. This year our goal was to hit 270,000,000 dollars and we had raised a whopping 277,000,000! This year marked the 20th year anniversary and we were happy to be apart of it! Sadly, this is my last year doing Relay for Life and I had an awesome last 4 years but I will for sure be involved in some way in future Relay for Life events"
