"Our local Harley Davidson dealer, Mike Bruno's Bayou Country Harley Davidson, hosted a Jambalaya Cook Off. I created a team with my family and our close friend to participate in this event. This was a non profit competition. We were allowed to ask for donations to go towards a charity of our choice. Our proceeds collected were donated to one of our local law enforcement officers, Paul Thibodeaux, that has Cystic Fibrosis and is on an immediate double lung transplant list. Because of our decision to donate our proceeds to Paul, two other teams also donated theirs to Paul. Paul is a man that is dedicated to protecting and serving the people in our community, I felt obligated to help him any way I can. "
