Dos Idiomas in Guatemala

"This picture was taken in a tiny village in the middle of a sugar cane field in rural Guatemala. Our small American team works closely each year with an organization called Groundwork Guatemala and their team of Guatemalan missionaries to share God's love with the local people. While we're there, there is a lot of 'Spanglish' spoken as we all work together to communicate and translate English to Spanish and vice versa. By the time you're ready to go home, you're not sure what language you're thinking in anymore, and there's been a lot of laughs! It was a delight to prepare these t-shirts and share them with our wonderful Guatemalan friends. Their text is a seamless blend of two languages: Ese momento when you start pensar en dos idiomas at the same tiempo. (That moment when you start to think in two languages at the same time) Thanks for making it so easy to make a fun and meaningful international memory!
