ECYC Loves CustomInk!

"Elmhurst College Yoga Club (ECYC) is the newest student-run organization on campus. But there is something special about ECYC that sets us apart from all other clubs on campus. ECYC started as a dream--a dream, held by Gina Cesario, in spreading the love of yoga across an entire college campus. Her passion for practicing yoga is so strong that she wanted to make sure all faculty and staff were eligible to join, along with the students attending Elmhurst College. What many people do not understand about yoga, is that there is so much more encompassing it than just being flexible. Yoga is about self discovery, tranquility, strength, self-acceptance, and so much more. With these aspects in mind, Gina's mission for ECYC became the promotion positivity across the entire college-campus. So after many months of hard work, planning, and recruiting, ECYC was born. Unsure of how successful the club would be, we, the executive board members, were ecstatic to see the aspiring members flood into the first meeting. Despite the surprisingly high influx of potential members, we knew there were still so many who had never heard of us before. We decided that we needed to find a new way to get our name out there, and thats where CustomInk comes in. After exhausting our use of posters, flyers, and banners; we decided what we needed was a great T-Shirt to promote ECYC. Despite the fact that our school typically uses a different company to create apparel, we decided to make CustomInk work--regardless of what it would take! With great success in using the company in high school, deciding on CustomInk was no-brainer. CustomInk has completely blown us away. The entire process, from designing to receiving our order, has exceeded all expectations. The tools available in the Design Lab made the options limitless. From the wide-variety of fonts, to the ease of use, we were able to create the perfect shirt for our club. It was also very reassuring to know that a professional artist would double check our work. As wonderful as the Design Lab is, that was not even the best part of the whole process. What really stood out to us was how sincerely kind, professional, helpful, and understanding each call representative of CustomInk was. None of us have ever experienced such amazing customer service in our lives. Each representative was able to answer each one of our questions while going above and beyond to make sure our club would receive the t-shirt we dreamed of having. Just under two weeks from placing the order, our beautiful t-shirts arrived--our vision had finally come to life! Each shirt was perfect; the logos and text were placed exactly where we wanted them, and the colors used were crisp and vibrant. The quality of the shirt itself was outstanding--the "Tahiti Blue" color matched the blue displayed on the website exactly. The shirt we used was the "Next Level Jersey V-Neck T-shirt" which was incredibly soft, and did not shrink after washing and drying. The following Monday, we anxiously awaited our club's meeting time to finally reveal the shirts. As fellow members filled the studio that evening, their faces lit up at the sight of the promised t-shirts. Everyone was ecstatic; all of us quickly changed into our beautiful new shirts and ran outside, in hopes to catch the last rays of sunlight for a group picture. That picture is the very one posted in this contest entry. So we, ECYC, say all of this in order to properly say thank you. Thank you for helping us recruit aspiring members, for joining us in the promotion of positivity, and for helping us make our dream into a reality. But most of all, thank you for providing us a physical identity. Our shirts are a literal display of who we and what we stand for. This visible identity truly brings a strong sense of belonging in our club, and standing together for our photo, proudly wearing our shirts, truly made us feel like family.
