Family at P. Taylor Hope Lodge Donation Drive

"My cousin Gigi passed away three years ago from cervical cancer. She was 39 years old. My daughter decided to do a donation drive to the Patrick Taylor Hope Lodge, for her National Honor Society service project. Gigi and her parents stayed there free of charge as she went through very painful chemo treatments. It was very good for our entire family...especially Gigi's parents. We decided to make it an annual event. This year was the third year and I thought we should get t-shirts so that everyone one notice our group as we visited the French Quarter in New Orleans and hopefully ask questions about them. Hopefully more people can learn about this great place. Drew Brees knows about it. He donated a million dollars to renovate the lobby and rooms. It is fabulous. I started out by finding the website to customink online. Shea got me started, Erickka helped me to tweak things and Matt completed my order the next day. They were wonderful...and excited about what our group was doing. The shirts were in my hand 5 days after the order......and 6 days earlier than the promised date...I might add. The donation drive was a huge success and we ended our day with an outing to the Olive Garden, which was Gigi's favorite place to eat. Thanks Customink for making us one sharp looking group.:):)" - kbabineaux (Apr 05, 2013)
