FIRST Lego League Team Nova!

"We competed at the FIRST LEGO League qualifier in Marion, Iowa on 12/8/18! FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is an international competition organized by FIRST for elementary and middle school students. Each year in August, FIRST LEGO League introduces a scientific and real-world challenge for teams to focus and research on. The robotics part of the competition involves designing and programming LEGO Mindstorms robots to complete tasks. The students work out solutions to the various problems they are given and then meet for regional tournaments to share their knowledge, compare ideas, and display their robots. This year, Team Nova, a team of 4th-8th grade students from five different schools, built a robot to complete missions autonomously and designed a nylon net to collect and burn up space debris surrounding the earth to provide safer travel for future manned missions to space! They won the runner-up Core Values award at their tournament!" - FLL Team Nova (Dec 10, 2018)
