"For 33 years, my parents, Robert and Susan have always run a busy household in the Pine Barrens of NJ. It is here in this home they raised their 8 children, 15 years apart from oldest to youngest. Through the years, Bob & Sue have been responsible for so many wonderful memories for my incredibly lucky brothers and sisters & I. These people are truly my very best friends, and although we were far from having it all materially, I always felt like I had everything I could ever hope for in them. My parents are so hard-working, and sacrifice everything for others and their children. They were the ones who always could -- whatever project or Homecoming float needed to be constructed, designed, painted-- you name it, they were on it! Susan always spent whatever spare hours she had in the evenings after taking care of all of us designing and making the wooden crafts that she enjoyed so much. Since those years in the beginning, Robert and Susan have continued to grow in love & family, have welcomed an immeasurable number new faces and friends into their quaint home with open arms, and have been blessed with new grandchildren. This past September, Robert and Susan were left "empty-nesting" for the very first time. Since that time, they started to working regularly side-by-side with one another making more & more crafts and taking those initial steps (although they did not know it at the time) towards fulfilling Susan's dream of owning her own craft business. Together, they construct beautiful crafts inspired by their home, family, life together, and countless of those special people in their lives; fellow members of their church, teachers, community members, and friends. The shirts in these photos were designed and ordered as a Christmas present to embody the beginning of a mission by the 8 kiddos to help make mom's dream a reality! Thus in 2016 was born "Pallets & Paints by Sue" a wooden craft company making custom crafts from re-purposed wooden pallets and fencing.
