"Gracie's Girls Weekend"

"My sisters and I (6 of us) decided to have a girls weekend in memory of our mother (Grace) that passed away in 2011. We ended up inviting our dad as well! It has turned into a reunion of sorts, with people traveling from across the country. This pic was from our 2nd annual event in 2012. We do a 5k fun run/walk each year. These are the bright tshirts that we ordered last year...colors our mom loved. The balloons had names of friends and loved ones that have passed and are dearly missed like our precious mom. This years tshirt is in the works, along with a neighborhood picnic in our old hometown with the people mom and dad befriended and the families us kids all grew up with.
